Bad times at Uncle Steve's Apple Shack

Image via WikipediaYa'll may not know about Uncle Steve's Apple Shack unless you're from around these parts but you just won't believe the mess that happened there last Friday when Uncle Steve released his new 3G Apple. Up until now you could only get what Uncle Steve calls a Great, Gooey Apple or 2G Apple as everyone calls them.

mmmmmm Best caramel apple you ever did try, well until last Friday that is. Uncle Steve got in a supplier that could provide him with bigger and juicer apples, they are Golden Delicious instead of Red. Not only that, but the price is better too! Well everyone was just geared up to get one of these Great, Golden, Gooey Apples (3G) and wouldn't you know it but a huge line formed outside the Apple Shack before it even opened on Friday morning just so people could say they got their's first!

Well they were having a good time at first, talking about what toppings they were gonna get and how excited they were that the new the new 3G Apples were better and had more applewidth than before! Then shortly after the doors opened, the cash registers broke down and then you wouldn't believe all the whining and goings on after that, you would have thought that world had ended and Steve was to blame. Now if it was me I probably would have just left and come back later but these stubborn mules just stood there and complained more and more and more. Drama doesn't even begin to cover it, but they were gonna get their new apples even if they did start complaining about how the extras cost more with the 3G. Of course once everything was up and running again and they could sink their teeth in and show off the new 3G Apples, all was forgotten!

I talked to Steve later and he said it beat all he ever saw, and that of course the cost of add-ons cost more, there was more applewidth! Still, the 3G Apples were a big hit and Steve made a killing so he was one happy camper and so is the dentist since he now has a whole mess of fillings to put back in!
